The Mysteries of Light is a school of remembrance, a journey into the sacred threads of Ancient Greek wisdom, where myth, philosophy, and nature come alive through embodied practices and rituals.

Initiation I – The Four Goddesses, the Four Elements & the Solar Cycle of Light is the first threshold of this School rooted in the archetypes of four Ancient Greek Goddesses, this course carries us through the Four Elements and across the Solar Gateways of light revealed at the Solstices and Equinoxes.

We will meet twelve times online over four months (spaciously paced), with time between the gatherings to practice, integrate, and let the wisdom gently unfold.

Created by performance artist and spiritual mentor Apostolia Papadamaki (founder of Anamnesis Performances), this initiation calls devoted seekers to walk the Hellenic path of wisdom: to invoke the Light within, to integrate body and spirit, and to reclaim the inner temple through voice, movement, and sacred ritual.

According to Plato, Anamnesis is the soul’s innate capacity to remember eternal truths it once knew. Rooted in the Orphic Mysteries, among the most ancient mystical currents of Greece, the School of the Mysteries of Light awakens that remembrance through myth, embodiment, and the living cycles of the Earth and Sun.

Course Content

Four Elements – Four Portals – Four Goddesses

Our journey reconnects us with the Wheel of the Year, attuning to the four sacred portals of light and shadow, the solstices and equinoxes, each one opening a doorway into deeper alignment with both cosmos and soul. Every portal is guided by a goddess archetype and an elemental force, offering us living initiations into balance, renewal, and radiance.

  • Autumn Equinox – Air – Athena Pallas
    The Harvest of Wisdom. Athena teaches us clarity, balance, and discernment as we breathe into the equal balance of light and dark.

  • Winter Solstice – Fire – Hestia
    The Inner Flame. At the longest night, Hestia guards the sacred hearth within, showing us how to tend the eternal flame of presence and welcome the rebirth of light.

  • Spring Equinox – Earth – Artemis
    Wild Renewal. As day and night find balance once more, Artemis leads us into nature’s awakening – sovereignty, wild instinct, and the planting of new seeds.

  • Summer Solstice – Water – Aphrodite
    Radiance & Love. At the sun’s peak, Aphrodite reveals the full bloom of beauty, creativity, and joy, inviting us to embody love as sacred power.

Course Details

The Initiation includes:

  • Mythic ritual and oral invocation through the Archetypes of Artemis, Athena, Hestia, Aphrodite.

  • The solstices and equinoxes as sacred portals, recognized in the Orphic mysteries as pivotal moments when the veil between worlds thins, inviting us to attune to the cosmos, recalibrate our inner light, and remember the soul’s path through descent and ascent.

  • Elemental embodiment of the four sacred elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.

  • Breath-work sequences and sacred movement gestures

    By the end of this four-month initiation, you will have kindled the ancient light that has always lived within you, attuning body, heart, and spirit to the harmony of the visible and invisible worlds.

A Glimpse into a Weekly Session (2 hours)

  • Opening Invocation – We begin by centering with breath, chant, and the invocation of the goddess and element guiding the session.

  • Mythic Transmission – Through storytelling, we enter the archetype’s world and receive her timeless teachings.

  • Embodiment Practice – Breathwork, movement, and ritual gestures awaken the element within your body.

  • Guided Inner Journey – A meditation with sound and visualization leads you into deeper realms of remembrance.

  • Creative Ritual – Journaling, offerings, or symbolic actions anchor the myth into daily life.

  • Community Sharing & Closing – We close the circle with reflection, blessing, and sound, carrying the light forward.

Investment

  • Tuition: €950.

    One-time payment of €950 upon registration or €500 upon registration + €450 by January 17th, 2026. If you feel deeply called to this initiation but need a different payment arrangement, please reach out, we will find a way together.

Your Mentor

Apostolia Papadamaki is a visionary choreographer, director, and Ancient Greek Wisdom Keeper. Through her groundbreaking project Anamnesis, she creates participatory ceremonial performances in sacred sites, where myth and ritual come alive as living experiences of remembrance.

For over 15 years, she has guided individuals and groups through mentorship, workshops, retreats, and online courses, weaving movement, breathwork, mythology, and ritual into transformative journeys of healing and empowerment. She has shared her work worldwide, from intimate circles to large international gatherings such as the Medicine Festival.

Apostolia is internationally recognized for her ability to bridge Ancient Greek mythology and philosophy with contemporary embodied practices, inviting people everywhere to reconnect with Nature, the Divine, and the timeless wisdom of the soul.

  • Apostolia Papadamaki is a visionary choreographer, director, and spiritual mentor who creates unique ceremonial performances under the concept of Anamnesis (ἀνάμνησις), meaning Remembrance in Greek.

    For more than 15 years, Apostolia has also guided individuals and groups on the path of self-discovery through mentorship, workshops, retreats, and online teachings.

    She has facilitated transformative gatherings across the world, from intimate one-to-one mentoring to large-scale retreats, weaving together movement, breath-work, mythology, and spiritual practices.

    Her offerings have been hosted in Greece and internationally, both physically and online, creating spaces of healing, remembrance, and empowerment.

    Her presence extends into global festivals such as the Medicine Festival (UK) and other international platforms for consciousness and culture, where she shares her visionary approach to embodiment and ritual.

    As a choreographer and director, she has created and staged theatrical productions of Ancient Greek Tragedy for over 15 years, with deep expertise in orchestrating Logos (λόγος – Word), Melos (μέλος – Music), and Orchesis (ὄρχησις – Movement).

    In weaving these ancient streams together, Apostolia creates a holistic and contemporary form of ritual theatre that resonates with the ancient mysteries while speaking to the soul of our times.

  • No. This course is open to all levels of experience. Whether you're just beginning your journey into Ancient Greek wisdom or have years of spiritual practice, Initiation 1 is designed as a spiral of remembrance, you begin exactly where you are.

  • Yes. All live sessions will be recorded and uploaded within 24 hours to a private link. Every session will be available for a month. If you miss a session, you can catch up at your own pace and still access all practices and teachings.

  • You can pay the course amount one -off or in 2 instalments .

  • No. While many archetypes are expressed through the divine feminine, this course is open to all genders.

  • You’ll have the opportunity to connect in optional peer pods and through a private community group. While the course is not focused on individual coaching, Apostolia may offer limited one-on-one support through ritual Q&A or short voice transmissions within the group.

  • Each session may include breathwork, mythic storytelling, Greek chanting, elemental embodiment, dream incubation, altar work, and transmission through light language (glossolalia). These practices are designed to awaken your inner temple.

  • All practices are invitational. You are always free to observe or modify. This journey honors your pace and your body as sovereign.
